Sales and Marketing Division

Sales Representatives
sitesALIVE! currently has two openings for experienced educational Sales Representatives who can quickly make things happen.

Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize prospects of wired schools and districts in your territory.
Set up and make presentations to decision-makers in such schools and districts.
Close sales and maintain contact with accounts during subscription period.
Attend trade shows in territory.

Qualifications:
3+ years sales experience in the K-12 market.
Motivation and drive to achieve beyond what is expected.
Technological proficiency: working knowledge of the internet and computers is essential.
Superior interpersonal and presentation/selling skills.
Sound understanding of the education system, its decision-making process and culture.

Compensation:
Salary plus commission plus expenses
Starting Compensation Package Based on Background & Experience
Only qualified candidates with Educational Product Sales (selling to the K-12 market preferred) experience will be contacted!

Educational Services Director
Individual needed to market sitesALIVE! educational content and products to K-12 schools on the national level. This full-time position requires the candidate to make visits to local schools, exhibit at trade shows across the United States, telemarket to school buyers, respond to online inquiries, and maintain current customer accounts. Educational Programming and Production Division

Copy Editor (Part-Time, Contract Position)
Individual needed to provide editing services to the sitesALIVE! Programming department. The editor is responsible for reviewing student-authored written materials received from sitesALIVE! remote field sites and editing them for voice, structure, grammar, spelling, age-appropriateness (7th grade), and, where applicable, content. The editor works in cooperation with the Program Producer and Director of Programs. The length of the contract is approximately three months (starting in mid-September), with a possible contract renewal and extension through June.
