Class Afloat takes place aboard the sailing vessel Concordia.

These programs are based on School for Field Studies (Massachusetts) curricula from the following field schools:

  • The Center for Coastal Studies (Baja, Mexico)
  • The Center for Sustainable Development Studies (Atenas, Costa Rica)

This program is based on the educational program of The Cape Eleuthera Island School, an academic and research institute founded by The Lawrenceville School in 1998.

The Cape Eleuthera Island School is situated on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera.

This program is based on Ocean Classroom, a joint production of Ocean Classroom Foundation (New York) and Proctor Academy (New Hampshire).

Ocean Classroom takes place aboard the sailing vessel Spirit of Massachusetts.

This program is based on the BT Global Challenge, an around-the-world yacht race produced by Challenge Business (United Kingdom).

BT Global Challenge takes place aboard twelve racing yachts.
