 Boston Bluegrass Union |
| The Boston Bluegrass Union (BBU) is a non-profit performing
arts association based in the Boston area. The year 2002 marks their twenty-sixth season
of presenting bluegrass concerts, festivals and educational activities. They bring the
finest national touring artists to the area, promoting and supporting the wealth of
regional bands, and assisting all other bluegrass and acoustic country activities
throughout the region. The BBU presents a concert series at the Museum of our National Heritage in Lexington, Massachusetts. They also produce the northeast's premier indoor bluegrass event, The Joe Val Bluegrass Festival, held each year in the "Dedham of Winter" at the Holiday Inn, in Dedham, Massachusetts. The BBU also produces a monthly Picking Party at the Stagecoach Inn, located in Groton, Massachusetts. |
