Andrea Versteeg

Harwoodlands, Nova Scotia, Canada
Full year

On Class Afloat I hope to gain valuable experience by visiting places I wouldnot otherwise have a chance to visit. I enjoy playing soccer and the piano, socializing with friends, and reading. The lack of privacy is what I see asthe greatest challenge aboard Concordia. After this experience I wouldlike to get my business degree and then go into hotel management.

Tania Mutch

Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Full year

I enjoy sports a great deal and look forward to gaining a better understanding of the world, and a greater appreciation of the earth. I also love animals and hope to one day attend a university studying veterinary medicine. During Class Afloat I think the greatest challenges will be fighting off seasickness and trying to do the math homework.

Geoffrey Kendrick

Niagria-on-Lake, Ontario, Canada
Full year

I play hockey and lacrosse and work as a sailing instructor. I am looking forward to making new friends and traveling. The pressure to get lots of different tasks finished on time, including my schoolwork, will be challenging. Someday I would really like to become a marine biologist.
