I decided to teach for Class Afloat because I wanted to combine my interests in travel, expeditions and teaching. My goals are to offer my students an excellent curriculum, encourage their personal growth and development, as well as that of my fellow teachers, and myself! As well, I want this journey to be fun. I hope that my students will ask lots of questions, and will encourage them to do so.

My own hobbies include long distance running, canoe tripping, urban mountain biking, skiiing, and windsurfing, as well as reading and photography.
