I chose Class Afloat because it was similar in many ways to a program I was involved with during my junior year in high school (school year abroad in France for 10 months). I hope to become good friends with every student and crew member onboard Concordia. Sometimes it is not so much what you see but who you see it with that makes an experience worthwhile. I am a semi-professional photographer and I enjoy skiing, sailing, and driving. Unfortunately, I had to leave our 6-week old puppy at home to come to Class Afloat.
