During the 1996-97 school year, you and your child can follow Concordia's exciting voyage from home. Like any exciting and interesting hobby, linking to this student journey around the world can be engaging, motivating, informative and fun! And it's a hobby that you can do with your child. Together, you can discover the world!
Nearly all of the resource materials that we have developed for use in the classroom are equally suitable for use in the home. And if you'd like, we'll address each issue of Class Afloat News to your child - so that he or she will enjoy the excitement of receiving their own mail with personal reports from around the world!
"Usually I read with my child at bedtime. She learns something, it's a nice emotional moment for both of us, but I don't learn anything. I love this program because doing it together still provides a great emotional moment, but now we're BOTH learning a lot about the world, and together!" ...6th grade parent, Milford, CT
