After this incredible experience, do any of you think that sailing will be in your professional careers?
...Mary M., Charlottesville, VAFor some people, yes, I am sure that they will use sailing in their professional career. Some students have decided to go to a special school to become a captain after graduation. Everyone is on the ship for a different reasons: some for the sailing, some for the ports, some to get away from the normal classroom setting. I know that a lot of students hope to work as crew on Concordia or other ships in years to come. Most of us love the sea and will find some way to be near it, even if it is not part of our professional career in the future.
