Bosun's Mate, Teacher: Sail Training I decided to teach with Class Afloat as my passion is sailing and I have a great desire to pass on the knowledge I have gained to others. My goal is to enjoy this voyage to the best of my ability. I would like to see the students come away from the ship with an appreciation for the complexities that keep a ship going at sea or in harbor and how we can positively use the wind, sea, and currents to achieve our goals in a non-polluting manner. My hobbies are sailing and boating. I always aim for perfection and I transfer that aim with a motto: hang loose and remain flexible. |
