To me, teaching in a program like Class Afloat is ultimately the type of program every teacher should strive to participate in. This program provides a framework for education; it is a place where educators and youths are offered the chance to communicate, evolve, and increase understanding of each other. Class Afloat is an environment where a teacher can act as a coach in the students’ lives. Moreover, Class Afloat provides a good opportunity to overcome fears and allows the participants access to their dreams.

My goals are to establish a good relationships with the students and refine my communication skills in English as a second language

Some of the things I like to do are studying psychology, philosophy, and the sciences. I also like sailing, windsurfing, playing hockey, mountain biking, etc. . . . I also played the guitar for awhile. I especially enjoyed playing the blues.

Sailing around the world is a dream that I have entertained since I was young. I have read a lot about circumnavigating, but I never thought I would get my chance to practice so soon!
