Great American II has three expert doctors from Tufts-New England Medical Center advising Rich, Rich, John, and Pierre. They will be available by satellite communications should the GAII crew need medical advice at sea. Dr. Barnewolt conducted a special seminar for the crew on topics in emergency medicine, such as wound stitching, splinting, burn treatment, & CPR.
