Brian Harris Boat Manager, Shore-based Technical Support As Boat Manager, Brian has contributed his time and expertise to Great American II in terms of preparation and maintenance. He was instrumental in getting the boat ready for its 15,000-mile sail in the months prior to Great American II's departure. He assisted with the "shake down" sails to ensure the boat's readiness. Although Brian will not be sailing with the crew, he will provide critical shore-based technical support during the voyage. Brian's areas of expertise include the electrical, navigational, mechanical, and sailing systems (sails, winches, rigging, etc.).
