Laura Mirabella Connecticut Maritime Association One year after earning her Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation and Business from SUNY Maritime College, Laura completed Maritime College's graduate program, earning her Master of Science degree in Ocean Transport and Trade in 2002. She currently works as a vessel coordinator for OMI Corporation, and has been employed in business development and demurrage analysis at Heidenreich Marine, Inc. (February 2002 to February 2004) and as a bunker broker at OceanConnect.com (March 2001 to February 2002). Laura serves as the Connecticut Maritime Association's Education Chair and has volunteered her time as an Alumni mentor for members of the mug class at Fort Schuyler through the Association's Mentoring Program.
