My name is Jon Palma. I live in Maitland, Florida, which is located just outside Orlando. This is my junior year at Davidson College in North Carolina where I am a biology major and a chemistry minor. Right now my plan is to attend medical school after college.

I chose to apply for the South Caicos program because I was looking for a unique way to spend my semester abroad studying biology. I also considered programs in Australia and Africa. I’m excited about the upcoming semester because I think the hands-on field study experience will be a rewarding one.
