Some of the local kids painted a brightly-colored, giant mural in celebration of the sea!

Sea Day Celebration!

The students and researchers at the School for Field Studies not only assist the local population with decision-making regarding their fishery, but they promote good will and a spirit of fun with a celebration of the sea called Sea Day. Playing, painting, discovery, and fun are all part of the celebration.

One of the fun tables had tubs filled with soapy water so the kids could blow giant bubbles!

Erica Fenton helps kids paint the mural with bowls of bright paint. Could anything be more fun?!

Anna Saltonstall tends the bubble table, one of the few things that can rival the painting table for fun!
