Benjamin Mahnke comes from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA, and he has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, in Environmental Studies. He has attended leaderships courses with the National Outdoor Leadership School and the Wilderness Education Association, and he has experience as a guide, trainer and instructor with several outdoor adventure and wilderness programs. Benjamin is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and as a Wilderness First Responder.
