Bates College I am participating in this SFS program because I am extremely interested in the ecology of marine systems and the toll that worldwide commercial fishing takes on these environments. My goals for the program are to increase my knowledge of tropical marine ecosystems with hands on individual and group research experience. My hobbies and interests include SCUBA diving, snorkeling, camping, hiking, rock climbing, squash, and ultimate frisbee. |
