Davidson College Why am I heading out to an island in the middle of nowhere to go to
college? Well, partly it is for the excitement and adventures of exploring a
new place, meeting new people, and doing new things. I also think that it is a
chance to make a contribution to our world while having the learning
experience of a lifetime. I hope that this semester not only will provide me
with new information and practical field experience, but also give me the opportunity to grow
personally. My interests include all kinds of water sports, reading, and working with people of all
kinds. I am a Girl Scout and have been for 13 years. I received the Gold Award and traveled all
over the US and Europe with the Girl Scouts. |
