Evie comes from Boulder, Colorado, USA, and she graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies. She has worked as an instructor teaching skin diving, marine science, and marine illustration, and she has work experience in water quality testing and wetland delineation. Evie participated in the School for Field Studies Marine Mammal and Island Diversity program in Baja California Sur, Mexico. She is certified in advanced life saving, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), SCUBA diving and rescue diving.
