orb weaver spiderOrb Weaver Spider
This is an orb weaver spider nest in the morning. The mornings in the rainforest are always very damp with dew and this web is covered with dew. This orb weaver spider only comes out at night. They grow to a considerable size and weave very large webs. This one has made its web on a cabin but they are also very common in the forest. (pictured left)
Huntsman Spider
This is a Huntsman spider. These spiders are up to four inches across. They are not dangerous and keep your cabin free of other insects. (right)
