Green tree frogs are one of the most numerous frog species of the rainforest. Although some rainforest frogs have a very poisonous this one is not. Full grown when it is about 3 in. long, it lives all of its life out of water.
Fred is an eight foot carpet python.He lives in the rafters of the Center Director’s cabin. He is harmless and keeps rodents under control!
This an Amethystine python near our compost bin at the Center. This species grows to about 20 feet, the one here is only about 10 feet long. They are very common around the center.
