Have you ever felt that all the beautiful spaces on this earth soon would disappear? Like Dances with Wolves, who wanted to see the frontier before it was gone and live simply on the earth, I feel this way too.

My name is William Christopher Habetler, but ever since I can remember everyone has called me Chris, except at graduation and at the doctors office. I'm a junior at Pomona College where I hope to graduate with Majors in Biology and Music. I'm originally from St. Louis, MO, but now I make my home in the Cascade Valley near Seattle. Reading and thinking are a few things I do often. Perhaps the majority of my time is spent with music - listening, practicing, or writing.

I have really enjoyed college, but the opportunity to study in the rainforest was truly too much to pass up. Speaking of the rainforest, I also plan on saving the entire thing so don't worry.
