Hi! My name is Pedro Marques. I'm 20 years old and a junior at Amherst College in Massachusetts. I'm actually a political science major but my concentration and interest is in anthropology. I love anthropology because instead of focusing on one aspect of human nature, behavior, or tendencies it is a holistic view of humanity, using a little bit of every field to study people from different cultures.

I came to the rainforest because I'm from Brasil (Brazil) and grew up knowing about it. It's the most important and diverse land on earth and I want to help keep it that way.
