My name is Mzuri, which is a Swahili word meaning "fine." I'm a three year old dingo mix. John Grant belongs to me and I have him and the students pretty well trained. I love working at CRS, because I get to go for a lot of bird walks, chase the Frisbee, and walk in and out of lecture at my leisure. Some of my tougher jobs entail cleaning the kitchen floor and underneath tables of all food scraps, lying out in the sunshine, and making sure the bean bags are comfortable enough for me to sit on. It's always a little tough breaking in a new set of students; teaching them where my favorite spots to be scratched are and teaching them where to throw the Frisbee because if they throw it down the hill I'm not the one who is going to get it. In general CRS is a great place to be for a dog, but if any other dogs are thinking about this position it is already filled!
