Learning about reforestation techniques.

Barry Thurling's Australian Farm

Our latest adventures in the Queensland rainforest have included a trip to the farm of Barry Thurling. He is a local farmer that is reforesting his waterways in an attempt to increase his farms' production.

While we were visiting the Thurling farm we ate lunch with him and his wife. We were served pikelets (like pancakes) with native plum jam. After lunch we spent the afternoon swimming and canoeing.
