Our three day trip to Mission
Beach was full of adventure.
While visiting, we did research
on the lifestyle and feeding
habits of the cassowary. The
cassowary is a giant rainforest
bird very similar to an ostrich.
This endangered bird plays a
key role in the seed dispersal of
large rainforest trees.
