Hi everyone! My name is Marc Rivers. I was born in the small town of Malone, NY, but lived for most of my life in Niskayuna, NY--a hop-skip-and-jump from Albany, the capital. Presently, I am going to school at Tufts University, located in Medford, MA. It is there that I have been focusing my studies in two main areas: biology and environmental studies.

I'm really glad that I have been able to attend Tufts University. It is there that I have really learned quite a lot about life and how I want to live mine. Also, it is there that I found out about this exciting program through the School for Field Studies, that will allow me to study rainforests first-hand.

Rainforests have always been a curiosity to me. I vividly remember reading about them through books at the local library. Learning about them in an environmental framework is truly an opportunity that only comes around once, and I'm going to do my best to live it up!
